Several Heroes of Newerth LAN tournaments occurred this past weekend in Europe, including The Gathering 2011 and the Copenhagen Games 2011, the largest events in Norway and Denmark, respectively.
The Gathering, held in Hamar, Norway, hosted a three day HoN tournament that started on Thursday, April 21st. A 32-team, double-elimination bracket was filled, with 35000 NOK (~€4484) on the line.
NoGrenades, led by Sondre "Loiz" Løhre of the former team Imperial eSports, went undefeated through the entire bracket to win the tournament.

Broken Masma, 5000 NOK (~€641)Less than 600 km away in Copenhagen, Denmark, another HoN tournament was held at the Copenhagen Games 2011. Eleven Danish teams battled it out in the groupstage on Friday, followed by the playoff bracket on Saturday.
Notably, [Infs] Buch and [OK] SemiJew temporarily teamed up as Quintet of Quality, the eventual tournament champions. The runners-up were REGret eSports (formerly Danish Dynamite), the ESL Major Series Season VIII qualifiers.
