After many long months, our GosuGamers HoN World Cup is finally nearing its very end. In less than 48 hours a winner will emerge from the loser's bracket finals to go up against the unstoppable FnaticMSI, who's already 1-0 up in the Grand Finals due to them topping the winner's bracket.
Nobody could possibly dream of a match-up more exciting as it is the top 2 North American teams going at each other. To add to the intensity of the battle for a berth in grand finals of HoN's biggest global online tournament to date, both teams have a rivalry that goes way back to the beta days. Who could forget the time when it was weird if neither We Heart Pigs [WHP] nor fiVe [5] made it to a final? Fate could not have brought these 2 teams to a better platform for this showdown.
Members from both teams have made statements regarding the match, which will be played at 2130 hours PST on the 6th of January (Thursday). The first salvo was fired by chu during an interview with us about 2 weeks ago.
SK player Tralfamadore made a statement in response.

Seeing how much money is on the line this time, both teams would definitely start with their strongest 5. While Evil Geniuses would probably play with their usual starters, it remains to be seen who will be playing for SK. The team that played DWi was certainly one that performed the best out of their performances in the past few months. However, this would mean the exclusion of star player Testie. Will CarDinaL and Tralfamadore perform up to the standards that they showed against DWi? Don't miss the match and catch the livestream that will be put up here on GG.net!
