FnaticMSI champions of DreamHack Winter 2010

It was finally happening as tournament favourites FnaticMSI and Druidz Qpad faced off in the grand finals of the Steelseries HoN Masters, live in front of an audience of 12 000 in the DreamArena Extreme. The crowd was so excited the Arena was filled up 20 minutes before the game even started.

Druidz brought out their trademark carry - Predator out right from the start. The beginning of game 1 was an interesting turn of usual events as MSI's very offensive Hammer-Witch-Glacius trilane were struggling to shut down Predator's farm. However, N0tail won mid as usual and due to [DrDz] Revyy being plagued by issues with keybinds early on, Fresh had no problems demolishing the top lane.

With both Hellbringer and Soulstealer well over the 400 GPM mark, MSI went for a 17 minute Kongor kill to consolidate further their advantage. A 20 minute genocide pretty much showed how the game was over and N0tail went for his notorious codex Soulstealer. Druidz conceded at the 25th minute mark.

Surprisingly although they own the trilane clash in game 1, Druidz decided to go for the evasive 1-2-2 style set-up in game 2.With Night Hound making his 2nd consecutive appearance in DreamHack Grand Finals. MSI as well changed it up as N0tail played on the sidelanes for the first time since months ago when Bot went on vacation. It was also quite confusing as he was playing Freshpro's signature hero - Pharoah.

Even Druidz were confused about Fresh not being on Pharoah

Bot on Tempest had a very early portal key and this was crucial as it won MSI pretty much every subsequent teamfight. As MSI genocided Druidz at the 18th minute mark they literally had more than double of Druidz's gold. It was too much for the DrDz boys as they called the GGs by the 20 minute mark.

---End Game 2---
