Say hello to the new Shieldmaiden.
As Blizzard have stated multiple times, [card]C'Thun[/card] will get a lot of cultists following his evil ways. Yesterday, we got to see the first Druid card and the third C'Thun supporter in the new set. Today, two more synergistic cards have been revealed.
Ancient Shieldbearer can simply be described as a meaner version of [card]Shieldmaiden[/card]. A 6/6 for 7 mana, Ancient Shieldbearer restores 10 health if C'Thun has at least 10 attack, which by Turn 7 should be more than possible. As C'Thun will most likely end up as a finisher in slow, control decks and as Warrior is known for playing exactly that style, this could very well be a metagame staple upon release.
The other card is a neutral minion, revealed on a Chinese site, and is translated as C'Thun's Servant. Very similar to [card]Beckoner of Evil[/card], the Servantbuffs C'Thun on Battlecry, but also comes equipped with a Divine Shield and a 4/2 body for 4 mana. With Piloted Shredder soon to be rotated out of the meta, this 4-drop is also looking really good.
