Register for the Sunday Cup here
After running into herself all Saturday afternoon, Jaina (and Medivh) have decided to sit the Sunday cup out. Mage, thus, will not be allowed for play tomorrow.
The first Tavern Brawl Open is in the books as a group of spirited brawlers gathered for the opening of the circuit. Big names like Jan "Ekop" Palys, Keaton "Chakki" Gil and Harald "Powder" Gimre showed up but in the end, it was underdogs' day.
At the end of a Mage-dominated bracket, Ben "Khauros" B. from Denmark emerged as the first ever Taven Brawl Open champion. The Dane did not drop a single game until the grand final, a tense Mage mirror against Serbian player Zexion. As great minds have said - [card]Flamewaker[/card] giveth, [card]Flamewaker[/card] taketh.
Here comes the twist to tomorrow's Tavern Brawl Open: Mage will not be available for play. We saw a lot of Jaina play today, and we want to encourage brawlers to try different classes and builds. At the end of the weekend, we'll give you full decklist update of the best brawlers, interviews with the winners, Brawlers Ranking updates and we'll start cleaning up the tavern for next week's challenge.
