GosuCup SEA is a weekly tournament that rewards the best Hearthstone talents from the SEA region with prize money and World Championship points every Saturday. Here are the decks from the last edition!
An open tournament with adapted Conquest format that features a pick phase before each match-up, GosuCup SEA is a rich source of decklist ideas. While many players decide to just go for builds they are comfortable with and/or are good on ladder, others prefer to surprise their opponents with non-standard or tweaked builds.
In this week's edition of the tournament, we saw a good mix of both. Finalists Aaronkoh and Staz went for solid, proven builds, the only real surprise being Aaron's Ramp Druid, an interesting decision considering the somewhat low popularity of the build and players' overall preferences of fast combo Druid. We also have semi finalist Candycane showing bravery by bringing Priest - the class with currently the lowest win-rate since BRM's launch - as well as Wespogi's tendencies to build decks with lots of one-ofs. If you don't think a Handlock with just one [card]Molten Giant[/card] can be successful, think again.
Aaronkoh: Ramp Druid • Hybrid Hunter • Zoo Warlock
Staz: Fast Druid • Zoo Warlock • Control Warrior
Candycane: Fast Druid • Control Priest • Handlock
Wespogi: Mech Mage • Handlock • Patron Warrior
