A leaked image from Fnatic’s own website points to the departure of two of its Hearthstone players at the end of the month.
Fnatic’s Hearthstone roster is about to go poor on players, recent images suggest. An accidently published article on the official website communicates the departure of the two Swedes Bertil “Frezzar” Fall and Axel “Twixsen” Milveden. Both players were recruited in 2014, as Frezzar became a division’s founding member in July after a respectable top eight finish at DreamHack Summer 2014. Two months later, he was joined by Twixsen, who then placed second in the Eizo Invitational in November, and promising Icelandic player Jökull “Kaldi” Jóhannsson.
Since then, however, results have been lacking for the Swedish duo. Since August, Frezzar has been struggling to break the 50% win-rate mark, most recently finishing last in his Kinguin Pro League group with a 2-6 score. Twixsen, on the other hand, has been largely inactive, without a single recorded match since December 2014.
Their departure, also confirmed by sources close to Fnatic, will leave Kaldi as the sole member of the orange-and-black jerseys. Kaldi himself has seen decent amount of exposure lately, finishing fourth in the KPL group stages, thus securing his spot for the second season, and being a regular caster and analyst for the Gfinity tournament series.
