Trig Esports, the organization partnered with League of Legends' team Origen and employing legendary StarCraft II player Min-Chul "MC" Jang might snatch the trio of Faramir, Powder and DTwo.

In late January 2015, team IhearthU suffered a heavy loss and three of its headliners in Jan "Faramir" Engelmann, Daniel "Dtwo" Ikuta and Harald "Powder" Gimre said goodbye. An article by The Daily Dot reported that the trio had "disagreements with team's management" while further GosuGamers ources spoke that the question of players' salaries had also been raised.

At the time of their departure, the trio decided to stay together and with their bundle of achievements behidn their backs, they were a lucrative prospect. In November, DTwo placed top four in BlizzCon World Championship, making him the best IHU player at the time. Later, however, Faramir would score back-to-back championships at Heroes of Cards 4 and Tavern Takeover 3, while Powder walked with the silver medal from the inaugural Kinguin Invitational tournament in December.

The trio searched for a new sponsor for about a month, until they eventually gave up on staying together, as another report by the Daily Dot stated. Faramir's, DTwo's and Powder's status might inexpectedly change, though, as GosuGamers sources indicate that the former IHU spearheads are in talks with new sponsor.

The name mentioned is the one of Trig Esports. Trig entered the industry last year, signing the highest winning player in StarCraft II's history Min-Chul "MC" Jang, currently with more than $490,000 in earnings on his account. Later, Trig also partnered up with  the League of Legends team Origen, formed by legendary Fnatic members Enrique "xPeke" Cedeno and Paul "sOAZ" Boyer.

If the ex-IHU players do get signed, this will be Trig's first steps into Hearthstone and their fifth discipline in their portfolio next to LoL, SC2, Smite and Fifa. When reached out, the players denied any comment.
