From March 6th - 8th Blizzard will announce more news and future updates regarding their games Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and the new project Overwatch.
Since PAX East 2013 and the initial announcement of Hearthstone, Blizzard never missed a chance to attend this event. While in the past most of the important changes in their games were revealed at Blizzcons, PAX has become an important addition to reveal new content.
This year there will be Dustin Browder (Game Director, Heroes of the Storm), Eric Dodds (Game Director, Hearthstone) and Jeff Kaplan (Game Director, Overwatch) leading the panels in Boston. With the Lost Vikings already in the game, it’s a safe guess that the new hero shown could be Sylvanas Windrunner. Sylvanas’ arrival was teased at the previous PAX event alongside Chen and Kael’Thas and while the latter is also yet to be implemented to the game, there’s been significantly more information about Sylvanas than the Prince of Quel'Thalas.
Hearthstone fans will hope to get new info on the rumoured next expansion which previous rumors had that it will arrive in April. We reported on a number of these rumours a while back and hopefully we all get some clarification, since the insider info on the number of players has already been revealed to be false.
In terms of the anounced new game Overwatch, the fans are pretty much in the dark. Since its reveal at Blizzcon 2014 new information has been very scarce except for some screenshots of the map Hanamura.Â
