As you can see in the picture, the digits to the left display your APM Live. The digits to the right, within the brackets, display your average APM during the game. I contacted jca for some questions about the program. Your new program APM Live has just been released. Have you any plans on introducing any features apart from those that already are there ?
Yes, i thought of adding things like you would give your usual APM and then during the game i would display some markers if your are under or above it. In other words, something to tell you "you're too slow right now". I might also receive other suggestions from players.
When I tested the program, the APM didn't appear constantly. Instead it was flashing now and then. Why did that happen?
Because I'm drawing the text above BW graphics, and BW erases it with its own graphics. If the portion of the map that is drawn below the apm text is being refreshed by BW, it will flash.
Is there any possibility that you find a way to fix this issue? Because in my opinion it's quite annoying.
No, BW will always overwrite like this.
On what is the APM Live based?
The current apm (the one between brackets) is computed on last 5 seconds. The average one, the 1st number, is computed on the total duration of the game, minus the first 1'20, just like in BWChart.
About your anti maphack program (BW Sentinel) - Will there be a public release of the program, and if yes, when ?
First we must see how it works in the Team Liquid Tournament, then we'll see. If it's a success, I might release it, but you need a server to use it anyway, so it's not like everyone will be able to use it right away. Also, the more public it gets, the less secure.
