Another new sub-update was recently released for the 6.84 Dota2 patch, this time around, the patch 6.84c makes some slight changes to game mechanics and some slight nerfs to a few heroes.

Valve has recently released yet another patch for the current Dota2 version, 6.84. This new patch, dubbed 6.84c, contains changes to in-games mechanics such the haste rune duration changing from 30 seconds to 25 and AOE gold being reworked slightly. In the patch were also some nerfs to heroes such a Gyrocopter and Undying.

Among the most significant update in the patch is the increase of the Mekanism cool down by 20 seconds, decrease of Gyrocopter's rocket barrage damage from 11/15/19/23 to 8/13/18/23 (therefore reducing his early game impact) and also an adjustment to AoE gold:

Old:
1: 154 + 7.7 * Level
2: 115.5 + 6.6 * Level
3: 66 + 5.5 * Level
4: 38.5 + 4.4 * Level
5: 33 + 4.4 * Level

New:
1: 150 + 8 * Level
2: 100 + 7 * Level
3: 40 + 6 * Level
4: 25 + 4 * Level
5: 20 + 4 * Level

After the implementation of the 6.84 version, Valve has released two patches to make some small alterations to the current version. Last patch, 6.84b, was more focused on changing the obviously overpowered heroes and items, as for this patch, it seems that it is targeted at small balance and mechanical changes to slightly tweak the meta away from frequently producing one sided games.
