Blizzard Confirms A Fourth Title

After letting the cat out of the bag on Diablo 3 this year, Wrath of the Lich King, and Starcraft 2 in development Blizzard has confirmed yet another title in production.

Blizzard has long been a known force in the gaming world, well deserved as they have released three of the most successful series ever. That being said you could state their one flaw as being a lack of new material, as they have not brought a new title out since the 90s. Even their newest game is from a nearly ten year old series, but that may all change in the next coming year or so.

"A few months ago you offered a job on the official Blizzard webpage, considering a Next-Gen MMO. A community Manager added, that's it about game, that has not been announced yet. Is there any new information on that, or is Diablo 3 the mentioned Next-Gen MMO?"
"
"No, obviously not, Diablo 3 isn't a MMO. We've got another dev team, there is still one unknown project."

"Blizzard has very strong...

wNv-Gaming grabs the runner-up spot in NGL-TWO and qualifies for NGL-ONE after ALTERNATE aTTaX's blunder versus nWo yesterday.

Looking at the table sheet yesterday with only one match left to play, it was Serious Gaming and ALTERNATE aTTaX who were going to move up to NGL-ONE. But the German-based team aTTaX was failed to defeat NoWAYouT in the remaining match.

A 2-4 loss score meant that aTTaX ended up on 6 wins and 3 losses this season while wNv-Gaming ended at 7 wins and 2 losses. The ruleset was changed this season which now says that match wins is prioritized over 'ranking points'.

Should the old rule have applied, aTTaX would have been ranked in first place with Serious Gaming second place and wNv-Gaming split third with NoWAYouT.

German site readmore claims that hoorai will shut down their Warcraft team, and hoorai's head manager tells GosuGamers the team is still a part of hoorai.

According to readmore, hoorai will shut down their Warcraft team with immediate effect after today's loss in NGL-ONE and previously failing to re-qualify for WC3L.

GosuGamers contacted the head manager of hoorai, D.Devil, did not want to comment the matter but wanted to clarify some facts.
- On Sunday, we will publish a statement regarding the future of our WC3 team. As for today, they are still a part of hoorai, says D.Devil and mentions that DNA will play at ESWC Masters under the hoorai tag.

hoorai is currently ranked on 9th place in NGL-ONE, which automatically places them in NGL-TWO for the next season. Only chance for hoorai to stay put in NGL-ONE is if Wicked disbands, which would have hoorai go up against the third-placed team in NGL-TWO for a relegation match.

GosuGamers presents our current rankings, based on years of results, from both online and offline competitions.

This month's ranking is heavily influenced on PGL Season 3, the WC3L Season 13 finals, Blizzard's World Wide Ivitational, and of course all the regular online competitions and leagues.

The Top 10 of our rankings is stiff competition. Take a look at the top two positions, where Moon and Sky only have a difference of six points. They are closely followed by Infi and Lyn, both also above the 1400 point mark. Moon, much thanks to his solid performances in WC3L, PGL and World Wide Invitational, gained a total of eight positions, currently in the lead.

Another player who surely had a great period in June was Fly100%, who leaped a total of 20 positions, after a stellar performance in WC3L where he more or less carried his...

Starcraft 2 WWI Gas Mechanic

Cavez has posted details about the new gas mining features introduced at WWI.

You will now be able to restore 400 gas back into a depleted geyser for 100 minerals, Blizzard is trying out two geysers at each main, and Cavez covers possible strategies that are brought into the mix with this new feature.

WWI Gas Mechanic - posted by Cavez

Here is how it works. All numbers are subject to change. We have changed the balance since the WWI build and will be fiddling with the balance this coming week for sure.

You start with two Vespene Geysers in your base and at every expansion (some maps will not do this of course, but all the WWI maps do). Optimal number of workers per gas collection building is 3 (so you need 6 total).

All gas collection buildings start with a certain amount of gas (like SC1). I believe it's 1000 in your WWI build.

When a gas collector runs out it becomes "depleted" (like SC1). A depleted gas collector still...

Live on spot on the World Wide Invitational MyMyM.coms The1Crow has brought us some interviews with the top SC and WC3 players.

This year Blizzard hosted the World Wide Invitational in Paris, France. There they have revealed that they have been working on Diablo 3, new additions to the Wrath of the Lich King, and hands on time for StarCraft 2 fans. They also held with tradition and had a tournament for four of the best Korean pro gamers and four of the best foreign gamers. The1Crow pulled down some great interviews with three of the best gamers around.

Mondragon On His Loss to Dreiven
I this first interview from the WWI Mondragon says a lot about the state of StarCraft and the state hes in as well as his clan. Reveling that he as usual did not practice on any of the maps before the tournament and thus expected to gain no more than a free trip to Paris.
