This is the quote on Own3D's blog post regarding their business decision. After a few successful years, Own3D was just not capable of running the business in a matter which would work for them anymore. Though Own3D will be gone, one cannot forget that it was the birthing grounds for high quality e-sports entertainment broadcasted to a massive audience.
Own3D had a lot of loyal streamers that were insanely famous utilizing their service, such as most of the Curse network, joinDOTA, Athene, and most famously pioneering general massive user streaming, George 'HotshotGG' Georgallidis.
This will be effective immediately starting tomorrow and Own3D will finally be closing its gates.
