HellRaisers and SexyBamboe part ways before the end of the first roster lock period, looking for improved results heading into the new year.
Alaan 'SexyBamboe' Faraj originally joined the team at the start of September, in time for the first roster lock of the season. The Dutch player replaced Uroš 'Swiftending' Gali? in the lineup but assumed the offlane position instead of the carry, with Neta '33' Shapira taking on a new role for him in the first position.
Despite what seemed to be a solid lineup and an extraordinary presence in the regional qualifiers, the team has been unable to secure a spot at any of the ProCircuit events so far - sometimes just narrowly missing out, coming in second place. HellRaisers did take the first slot in the WCA qualifiers and will be heading to China early next year to compete in the main event.
It led to us having a good mix instead of a team. We're grateful to Alaan for performing under our tag and wish him success in the future
- Ivan "4SV" Karpov (manager)”
In addition to the change in roster, there will also be an adjustment to the roles. 33 will be returning to the offlane, a position that he has thrived at for most of his professional career.
This patch turned out to be more carry-based than the previous one, and 33 wanted to return to the offlane. Consequently, now we're looking for the fifth player who'll take the carry position
- Alexei 'j4' Lipai (captain)”
The team will be participating in the upcoming ProCircuit qualifiers as they continue to search for and try out new players. No information has been provided as to the future plans for SexyBamboe.
