AntiHype finish the WESG European and CIS regional qualifiers LAN finals undefeated

Day two at the Barcelona regional LAN finals for WESG 2017 is an important one for the CIS fans, who have four teams with the potential of advancing into the 1.5M Dollars main event.

AntiHype, a Russian mix of players from Virtus Pro, Team Spirit and Na’Vi, were the first to claim tickets to the WESG Global Grand Finals from March 2018. Captained by the Hamburg Major MVP himself, Alexei "Solo" Berezin, AntiHype showed up in the morning with a lot of vigor. Actually, the first part of the day was an extremely animated one at the WESG European and CIS regional qualifiers finals as Russia, Ukraine, and Mousesports, the most energetic team we have in the professional scene, all played their group stage matches. AntiHype ran over all their opponents, the longest match they had being the one against Mouseports, which took only 37 minutes.

AntiHype roster:

Russia Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev
Russia Igor "iLTW" Filatov
Russia Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov
Russia Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan
Russia Alexei "Solo" Berezin

For the Greek Mousesports roster, the day went almost perfect, they also had no issue in securing the second spot in the group, despite the fact that they were actually playing with Greg "Keyser" Kallianiotis of Hellraisers, an old friend of theirs, who stood in for Omar "Madara" Dabachachas.

Mousesports roster for WESG 2017:

Greece Greg "Keyser" Kallianiotis
Greece Dimitris "ThuG" Plivouris
Greece Kharis "SkyLark" Zafeiriou
Greece Verros "Maybe Next Time" Apostolos
Greece Giorgos "SsaSpartan" Giannakopoulos

Third placed in group C are the Ukrainian stack UAshki featuring Andrey "Mag~" Chipenko and Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko, both of whom are currently teamless.

UAshki roster:

Ukraine Nefrit
Ukraine Bogdan "Iceberg" Vasilenko
Ukraine Andrey "Mag~" Chipenko
Ukraine Sergey "Ecnart" Slobodyanyk

There are two more teams who can join the WESG 2017 Global Grand Finals line-up. At the  end of the day we will find out if CIS will indeed have a total of 4 teams to cheer for in March next year. The other two CIS teams fighting right now in group D for a ticket to the grand finals are Team Ukraine featuring Resolut1on, No[o]ne, Ghostik, Lil and Artstyle and Ultima_nuhle featuring the most recent addition of Clutch Gamers, Vladimir "Chappie" Kuzmenko. Group D matches are broadcast in both English and Russian on the official WESG and Starladder twitch.tv channels.
