Group B in the WESG European and CIS regional qualifiers LAN finals finished in Barcelona, Spain. Jonathan "Loda" Berg will return to China for the Global Grand Finals, however, his current Swedish team is completely different from the one he lead in the battle at the first WESG edition when he played under the Alliance banner.
This time around Alliance is still in a rebuilding process, with an actually finalized roster, but not officially announced yet. Loda came to Barcelona to play under the Team_Team tag, which is the name of one of his first Dota teams from 2006. Eleven years later, him and Joakim "Akke" Akterhall, qualify together under the same Team_Team tag and, given their long story together, today’s victory brought a lot of emotions for their fans.
Team_Team 2017 roster:
Jonathan "Loda" Berg
Micke "miCKe" Nguyen
Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski
Aydin "iNsania" Sarkohi
Joakim "Akke" Akterhall
On the second place in Group B is another team put together by two old friends. WehSing "SingSing" Yuen and Alaan "SexyBamboe" Faraj assembled a mix of top MMR players from Netherlands and came to try their luck again in WESG qualifiers. The first edition of the tournament didn’t go so well for them as they failed in the European and CIS qualifiers from Kiev, Ukraine. Barcelona, however, was more inspiring and, alongside their Dutch fellow teammates, they already know what they’re going to do in March 2018 when the WESG Global Grand Finals from China are scheduled.

Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp

The third place in the group was a strongly contested one. Danish Dynamite, featuring the likes of Johan "N0tail" Sundstein, Jon "13abyKnight" Andersen and Malthe "Biver" Winther, almost made it to the Global Grand Finals, but a 20 minutes loss against Team Serbia decided the qualifiers outcome. While NotaiL and co suffered an unexpected early exit from the tournament, the Serbian Dota 2 fans have who to cheer for.
Also a team stacked with players, who in fact share a strong friendship bond, Team Serbia feature the likes of Uroš "Swiftending" Gali?, the carry player of Hellraisers from TI7, and Nikola "LeBronDota" Popovi?, the former support of EPG player, currently member of Double Dimension.

The group A matches are underway now, with Team Romania, Team Merkel, No Biggie, FINSTACK and Baskonia eSports fighting for the top three spots in their group.
