Being held from December 8-10 in Asia's Las Vegas, the Minor will feature Virtus Pro and LGD Gaming alongside other world-class teams.
Completing its lineup of participants a week after the qualifiers ended, MDL Macau extended direct invites to the CIS giants - Virtus Pro - as well as the Chinese powerhouse - LGD Gaming. The three day tournament will feature representatives from each of the regions, battling it out for a prize pool of $300,000 as well as some valuable Qualifying points to add towards their chances of qualifying for the next International.
The Russian comrades of Virtus Pro recently reigned supreme in the first Major of the Dota Pro Circuit - ESL One Hamburg - and top the charts for the Qualifying Points. LGD Gaming have also proved to be a dominant force in China, being runner-ups in the PGL Open Bucharest Major and dominating the Chinese qualifiers for the Summit 8 as well as the Perfect World Masters.
In other news, Mars Dota League also revealed a few personalities who will be gracing the event. Xu 'BurNIng' Zhilei, widely-acclaimed as B-God in the Chinese Dota scene and having dominated it since his days in Team DK, will be present at MDL Macau as a guest star. Another popular name around the world due to his vocal leadership, entertaining personality, and seniority in the Dota scene, Bai 'rOtK' Fan will also be present at MDL Macau.
