VGJ.Storm replace Digital Chaos in Midas Mode

One week before kick off, VGJ.Storm have replaced Digital Chaos in Midas Mode event.

The North American team, now featuring Max "qojqva" Bröcker from Germany, have withdrawn from the MoonDuckTV Studio's new unique tournament. The reason for the sudden change was not revealed, but organizers were able to secure another one of the region's favorite teams - VGJ.Storm as their replacement. 

VGJ.Storm will head up the first series for the North American region on Sunday, November 19th against Optic Gaming. Schedule times have not yet been finalized but game play runs from November 18th (starting with the European region) until November 28th. The prize pool has not yet been revealed, but the draw of the unconventional tournament concept and rules was more than enough to draw some of the biggest and best teams.

Midas Mode Format

  • Teams are split into 2 divisions played out separately - North America and Europe
  • Round Robin Group Stage
  • Last team eliminated
  • Top seed advances directly to the Grand Finals
  • Remaining two teams compete in semi finals for spot in Grand Finals
