DreamLeague announced the teams invited to the European division and the newly added NA division
For the first time ever, the much anticipated DreamLeague season 7 tournament sponsored by Monster Energy will host their LAN playoffs in the US. The event will be held at DreamHack Atlanta on July 21-22. The tournament will host two competing divisions, North America and Europe. The NA division consists of three invited teams and one position up for grabs by a qualifier.
The qualifiers for both divisions will be organized by FACEIT. One spot is reserved for the NA division at the Playoffs while the European division gets the remaining three. Most of the invited teams have already proven themselves back in The Kiev Major reaching the top spots in the regional qualifiers. Other teams are highly known and successful, such as Digital Chaos the runners up of The International 2016, Team Liquid winner of the recent StarLadder i-League Season 3, and defending champions of the previous DreamLeague season, and The GREEKS mostly known as Ad Finem, runners up at the Boston Major .
Knowing that the competition this season is sure to be stiff, as mentioned before with such prestigious teams in both divisions, DreamLeague Season 7 will feature an esteemed title and prizes adding up to 175,000$ which will be divided respectively:
1st place: $80,000
2nd place: $45,000
3rd place: $30,000
