After nearly two months of playing under the MeetYourMakers (MYM) banner, Hampus 'Mini' Olsson and Metehan 'Exist' Aksut will now be parting ways with the organisation.
Mini and Exist were originally part of the team that was acquired by the legendary organisation, which decided to foray into Dota 2 after a brief hiatus. After two months of loyal service, the formidable duo were removed from the MYM roster, citing lacklustre performance in tournaments.
Replacing the duo will be none other than the Danish veterans in Sylvester 'Link' Hoelgaard and Christoffer 'Ryze' Winther. Both these players have tremendous experience and the required skills when it comes to competitive Dota, with Ryze having attended The International 2011 with Nevo.
Having played for many well known teams such as The Tough Bananas, Quantic Gaming, DD, Mousesports and Copenhagen Wolves - to name a few; the addition certainly brings a lot of knowledge to the MYM table.
Mini had the following to say on his departure:
I'm really glad MYM gave me this opportunity to be a part of the team. I realize it was necessary that changes were to be made but I’m truly sad that the decision was for me to leave. I’ll respect MYM for taking this decision. I truly appreciate that the organization stood by their word and actually paid out salary and supported us in any way needed. (This is the first time a sponsor actually stood by their word for me). It was a pleasure to play under the MYM name and I’m sorry I disappointed you guys. I wish the new roster more success that will get MYM the reputation they deserve. Good luck!
Current MYM roster:
Marcus 'Ace' Hoelgaard
