After an hour-long dramatic final against Sahara Zero Latitute, Fory Poporing are the victors in MSI BeatIt! Gaming tournament. The success of Fory was the conclusion for the most prestigious Indonesian tournament to date.
MSi BeatIt! Gaming tournament has come to an end, with Fory Poporing being the favorites of the tournament. Fory was able to overcome the obstacle of many formidable Indonesian teams, including RitteR's RR.QEON, to reach the grand finals and take down SHR (Sahara Zero Latitude).
FP used a strong pushing and teamfight line-up which features Death Prophet and Undying, while giving the first position to Visible's Weaver. With a heavy lack of reliable crowd control on SHR's side, combined with their low late-game potential (Dragon Knight and Lifestealer were the carries), FP was able to overwhelm their opposition and eventually overrun their base with three Necronomicons. With Manta Style, Linken's Sphere and Black King Bar on the Weaver, it seemed impossible for SHP to get rid of the annoying bug.
Fory Poporing will receive a prize of 2,000,000 RP, while SHR will settle for 1,500,000 RP. RR.QEON will also receive 1,000,000 after their victory against TLeR.Reborn for the third place. However, the real prizes for the three strongest competitors are various hardware goodies which includes notebooks and gaming hardwares.
The tournament, held in RitteR CyberCafe, was the most prestigious ever to happen in Indonesia with a cash and goodies valued at $4000. With the interest in the Indonesian DotA2 scene growing significantly, it has become easier for the native talents to reach recognition.
