Netolic Pro League has just announced that season 5 will soon begin, with the addition of a Pro League East where some of the best teams in Asia will be able to compete.
Beginning February 3rd, Netolic Pro League will begin it's 5th season, and with it comes some changes. Along with the standard Netolic Pro League West featuring some of our favorite teams from Europe and the Americas, comes a Pro League East that will feature some of the best teams in Asia.
The Netolic Pro League West teams will boast a prize pool of $5,000.00 USD and an extra 25% of the total in game ticket sales, while The Netolic Pro League East prize pool will be 65,000.00 RMB, as well as an extra 25% of the total in game ticket sales. The Pro League West format will consist of one online qualifier for the Americas and one for Europe. Each region will have 64 teams competing, where the top 4 teams will go on to face each other and the invited teams. Of those teams, two will go on to face the six invited professional teams. The main event will be a double elimination format. The tournament is still looking for teams to fill up the qualifiers, to register check out the links provided at the bottom of the news.
Due to the Chinese New Year, dates on when the East tournament will take place are unknown. The East tournament format is also unknown, but we can assume it will follow the current West tournament format.
