Massive time clash in China; ACE gives teams full authority to choose their tourneys

SGamer reported that ACE has given the Chinese Dota 2 teams full authority to choose the tournaments they would like to participate in to settle a serious time clash in January. The teams going to D2L are very likely to suffer the most out of the time clash.

ACE gathered all the Dota 2 teams a few days ago to discuss about a serious time clash that is bound to happen in a couple of months time.

With three high profile tournaments ending in the first twelve days of January, ACE has announced that Chinese teams are allowed to choose the tournaments they would like to join. The decision was made after a meeting with all the Dota 2 teams under ACE, including Hearts Get Together (Cupid's Heart) and TongFu.Wanzhou (Team Adidas)

According to ACE's principal, ECL, G-League and D2L will suffer from the time clash. ECL and D2L will overlap each other while G-League finals are set to begin one day after D2L, almost definitely not enough for the two participating Chinese teams to return to China. The real victim of the schedule clash is really the two Chinese teams who will be heading to Las Vegas to participate in D2L. They will now have to make a choice; to play in D2L or to play two high profile Chinese tournaments.

Considering D2L will be held at CES, their schedule could not be changed and rightfully so, since they are the only organizers who have talked to ACE to book the schedule. GameFy and CESPC, hosts of G-League and ECL, stated that they will not change their dates as well.

We are awaiting LGD's reply on the issue considering they are very likely qualifying for D2L. Stay tuned to GosuGamers for more update on the situation.
