Liquid takes out Fnatic 2-0 in a convincing series. The North-Americans dominated game 1 and only wavered a little bit in game 2. They will be joining Alliance in the G-1 League LAN finals in May.

Game 1

Fnatic pulled off an oldschool Juggernaut/Crystal maiden dual mid lane, running H4nn1 on his Magnus offlane. This laning looked to be great as they shut down Korok's farm at first, but he was able to manage himself and traded a kill when ganked. Fnatic's movement has been rather slow and their early push oriented strat barely found an opening.

Bulba had a great time up top, being barely contested and scoring a solo kill against Trixi's Lone Druid. H4nn1 got ganked in the bottom lane and it was Liquid that resorted to an early push. A big teamfight at the river ensued and Liquid cleaned up as they picked off Fnatic one by one. A questionable TP by Trixi even gave away a kill on Fnatic's carry.

The Europeans attempted Roshan but Liquid knew and contested it - with success. Yet another teamwipe for the North-Americans sealed the deal as they gained complete map control and forced out a 'GG' 18 minutes in with no base buildings being taken down.

Game 2

Liquid opted for an aggressive trilane this time around, but could not really contest it and even gave away three kills. On the other side of the map, TC secured a solo kill against Trixi's Batrider, but the Finn traded moments later when he got a double kill on TC and Fluff.

H4nn1 and Fly moved around and ganked the other lanes, whereas Era secured a tower by himself. A push on the bottom lane traded two Fnatic supports for two of Liquid's heroes, one being TC's Gyrocopter who even bought back. The North-Americans still held the advantage, having superior farm on their core heroes and Notail not going for an early Mek hurt the Europeans teamfight potential.

Both teams traded blows with Liquid always getting a slightly better trade off as Fnatic continuously initiated on Korok's tanky Dark Seer. However, when the North-Americans attempted Roshan, they were baited out the pit and retreated, whereas Fnatic secured the Aegis.

The game's pace slowed down and both teams moved as five a lot and Fnatic tried to avoid teamfights. When Liquid forced the issue in the midlane, it was Fluff that initiated a kill on Trixi and with a BKB down on Sven, Liquid took a a base tower.

Liquid gained the upper hand, won a big teamfight and was about to secure Roshan when Trixi snatched the Aegis and pulled his team back into the game. When the North-Americans breached highground several times, Fnatic defended valiantly and eventually turned the game around with Era manning up and cleaving and critting down Liquid. Fnatic wiped the Dire side and forced down the midlane, but Bulba was - as he was during the whole game - on spot with his Cogs and TC was untouched during a whole teamfight.

The game was turned once again and Liquid won a big teamfight in the enemy base that even buybacks on Fnatic's side could not turn. Liquid goes to China, 2-0.
