Starladder admin told us that, the sixth season of Star Series will begin in May, with the usual 16 teams round robin. The top four teams by the end of the season will advance to the offline final.

Speculations have that the offline final this year may not be held in Kiev. Besides that, there were also rumors stating that the prize pool will be increased by 1.5 times ($22,500). However, Starladder has not commented on any of these allegations.

In this season, joining the strong 12 will be Vivacity and ICCup, the top two teams from season five Pro Series.
