G-1 League resumes on the 23rd of April

G-1 League will resume on the 23rd of April with Absolute Legends versus Liquid. The game will serve as a test to see whether the DDoS attacks will continue.

G-1 League Western qualifiers will be returning on the 23rd of April after a one week break due to recurring DDoS attacks.

The tournament was halted on the 16th of April after relentless DDoS attacks continued to plague the qualifier games. Four teams were affected during the attacks.

The first match-up to be played in this comeback is Absolute Legends versus Team Liquid, which is the first match-up of the second round. Game two of QPandas versus Dignitas has been rescheduled to the 20th of April at 10:00 CEST.

The game is scheduled to start at 10:00 CEST and will be played in a best-of-three format. The loser of the match-up will fall into the loser bracket.

The aL versus Liquid game will serve as a test game to see if the DDoS attacks will continue. If the attacks stop, further schedule will be released and the qualifier will continue as usual. Assuming that it does not, the tournament will once again be paused.

You can visit G-1's official site here.

Live broadcasts of the games will be provided by Ayesee and BeyondTheSummit.
