VP and RoX.KIS last teams to qualify for Poland

Russian teams Virtus.pro and RoX.KIS are the last two teams to qualify for the LAN finals of the EMS One Spring. They edge out Team Empire in the running for a spot.

On the last playday of the EMS One Spring group stage, Virtus.pro tops group B, closely followed by up-starters RoX.KIS. It is quite the surprising outcome as Techlabs winner Empire does not qualify for the LAN finals.


With these two qualified teams, all eight teams for the LAN finals in Poland have been determined. The LAN finals will take place on the 20th - 21st April. Information regarding the exact format and location is still unknown.

The group stage only held a few surprises, most notably Team Liquid going down 0-3 in group C and dd.Dota and mousesports taking down nth and Fnatic.eu. Interestingly enough, all American teams placed at the bottom of their respective groups.
