Game 1

To much of QPandas surprise, Team Liquid started the game out abandoning the safe-lane and opted for the jungler and an offensive trilane. QPandas supports wasted precious time setting up a gank attempt on the safe lane. The supports rotated bot to help the Lone Druid.

Korok's Puck drew the First Blood, 5 minutes into the game against a Kunkka who was caught off guard. After the kill, Puck was two levels above and had seven creeps more than the Kunkka.

8 minutes into the game, everybody in the game started rotating towards the bot lane to which a big engagement initiated by Clockwerk managed to kill the Luna but QPandas, lost three of their members in that engagement from teleport supports.

The game started going downhill for QPandas as the Puck managed to lock down a few more heroes with the Dream Coil as the rest of Liquid rush in to kill them. By 16 minutes, all of QPandas tier one towers were down and Liquid strolled into the Roshan pit. The Aegis was given to Luna.

Liquid eventually pushed down all of QPandas' outer towers before pushing in for the win.

Game 2

SeleCT went for a very unique build with Magnus in game two adding Empower first over Shockwave and Skewer. Knowing that he would suffer in the off-lane against the Chaos Knight and Wisp, Magnus went into the Dire jungle and started stacking creeps for himself later on.

Considering that no one was on the off-lane for QPandas, Visage rotated mid to apply pressure to the Storm Spirit and successfully did so by taking the First Blood. The revenge kill came quick as Storm Spirit revived, Visage died to a 3-man gank.

More Liquid rotation came at the 10th minute mark. Liquid started grouping up and pushed down towers systematically. This decision also stopped Liquid's intention to perform a global gank with the Wisp and Chaos Knight. The kill score at 15 minutes was 8-1 in favour of QPandas.

QPandas optimized their kill lead by pushing on and forced engagement from Team Liquid, engagement which Liquid was not ready to fight. They took down another big engagement, Roshan (Aegis to Storm Spirit) and just plowed into the mid lane. The kill score was 3-26 at the time the gg was called.

Game 3

Liquid once again avoided the off-lane vs trilane situation by sending their Nature's Prophet into the jungle. Considering TC's Luna was going up against a Clockwerk, the Venomancer rotated mid top assist the Magnus.

The kill score escalated quickly as a big rotation from four heroes of each team moved towards the middle lane. When the battle was over, both teams have lost two of their heroes albeit the First Blood was given to QPandas.

As Liquid's support moved towards the bot lane, they sniped the Clockwerk and with teleport support coming in late and uncoordinated for QPandas, Liquid was able to capitalize and wiped the entire QPandas team, losing only Venomancer for it.

At the 10th minute mark, more rotation came out of Liquid. Liquid picked off a few more heroes and pushed down the mid tier one tower before they resumed farming. Faceless Void had the most farm at ten minutes followed closely behind by three members of Liquid.

By the 16th minute mark, Storm Spirit was on a six hero kill streak as he took down the lone Magnus. However, his whole team kept on failing him. Despite having four wards placed on the map, Faceless Void still got picked off while farming in the Dire jungle.

Soon enough, the 10,000 lead on gold became too much for QPandas to handle as they lost all their outer towers and map control. The gold advantage grew to 15,000 because Liquid farmed all of QPandas' jungle while pushing their lanes out.

29 minutes into the game, Liquid finally pushed mid and ended QPandas' misery.

Scheduled to be played at 18:00 CET, Virtus.Pro forfeited their games against Team Liquid in day three of the Dreamhack Invitational. The reason for the forfeit has not been disclosed.

With the forfeit announced, Virtus.Pro dropped into last place in Group A. Even if they take straight games against QPandas and Empire beats Liquid 2-1, VP will still have a score difference of -1. VP will not be joining the rest of the team in the next phase of the tournament.

Liquid on the other hand moved into first place with the six points they received today. QPandas and Empire on the other hand will be fighting for their tournament fate in their next game of Dreamhack Invitational.

The next game for Dreamhack Invitational will be the game between QPandas and Virtus.Pro. QPandas are now tied with Empire for the slot to the next stage of the tournament.

All the games of the Dreamhack Invitational will be casted live by The GD Studio.
