Dreamhack and The GD Studio assemble eight of the best teams of the Western scene to fight it out for $6,000. The format for this online tournament is a round robin group stage with the best three teams from each group advancing. The winner of each group will automatically be sent to the semi-finals, whereas the second and third place will fight it out in the quarter-finals. All games are best-of-threes, except for the finals, which will be a best-of-five.
Surprisingly enough, the list of participants does not read the Ukrainian powerhouse Natus Vincere, which would confirm the recently released video statement that they plan on bootcamping in China. The list however includes the newly formed QPAD Red Pandas, whose complete line-up has yet to be confirmed.
