SEA League's first two invited teams revealed

SEA League is drawing close, and the organizers had disclosed the first 2 teams to be invited into the tourney.

MiTH.Trust Roster:
Thailand Trai "TnK" Akaravinak (C)

Thailand Nattapong "R5R5" Petkong
Thailand Pipat "Lakelz" Prariyachat
Thailand Chanon "BbAA" Chiwpreecha
Thailand SD
Thailand Thakun "thaa" Chalurnjun

MiTH.Trust has been the premiere Dota 2 team of Thailand. They have honored their country by placing a valiant 7th-8th place on the first The International, and just barely missed the third-place finish at The Asia 2012. Their underperforming last SMM '12 is a testament that the team had already committed to Dota 2.

Trust is a veteran group starred by their Captain, TnK and their main carry, Lakelz. Them being invited into the tournament is not even remotely unexpected.

Pacific eSports Roster:

Philippines Richard "Nma" Minowa (C)
Philippines Carlo "Chn" Rivera
Philippines Jo "Hug/Ice" Tan
Philippines Mark "Byb" Gavin
Philippines Don "Don" Dancel Apuad

If the first team to be invited isn't surprising, this one surely is. Pacific eSports, composed of players from the eMaxx team that won SMM '12 (WC3 DotA), definitely is not the most deserving team to represent the Philippines for a Dota 2 tournament. It is safe to assume that they were able to receive a slot because Pacific is one of SEA League's Partners/Sponsors.

With various DotA tournaments all over their schedule, it is curious to see how efficient they can be in switching between the 2 games.

SEA League will be a 16-team tournament with a $1500 prize pool, and will be held from the 4th of February onward.
