fnatic surpasses Empire in final TPL3 match

83 kills in 43 minutes, that's a decent way to finish the main round of TPL3! fnatic leaves a sign of power right before SLTV Finals in the match against Empire.

It was meant to be the final best-of-three of the TPL3 season which happened all through autumn. Empire and fnatic did not disappoint their fans by showing off enjoyable matches with massive amounts of kills. In the second match it was even 83 kills within 43 minutes, finishing with a 53-30 score for fnatic.

The match was important as it determined the final positions of the top teams in TPL3 regular season. With the 2-0 win of fnatic over Empire, fnatic barely takes first place in the 3-way comparison of fnatic, Empire and dignitas. While all three teams won against one other and lost against one, it was fnatic to lose only 1-2 instead of 0-2 as Empire and dignitas in the direct matches. This way, fnatic finishes in first place, Empire in second and dignitas following.

Joining the three into the playoffs will be Virtus.Pro, the winner of the tiebreaker for fourth place. TPL3 playoffs will be played most likely in early January 2013. The first round of the playoffs with these final standing will be fnatic against Virtus.Pro and Empire against dignitas.
