G-League 2012, Season 2: Groups drawn

G-League found its competing teams for the round robin group stage starting 24th of December. Winner and runner-up of this year's first season (iG and DK) will each top a division of four teams.

All challengers have proven their worth to compete in the G-League studio this coming December, as everybody except above-named, had won one of six online-held qualifiers. Matches in the group stage are played in best-of-3 fashion.

As reported earlier, the top three teams of each group will move to the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai where the playoffs will take place. Both group winners are seeded in the semi final directly. A3 will meet B2, respectively A2 will go up against B3 for a chance to face them. From the semi finals onwards, matches are held in best-of-5 fashion.

The first season of G-League 2012 was still played on DotA and saw iG taking first place over DK in the grand final.

1st Place - 200,000 RMB (~32,000 USD)
2nd Place - 50,000 RMB (~ 8,000 USD)
3rd/4th Place - 10,000 RMB (~ 1,600 USD)
