Star Series has its' finalists

Natus Vincere were already waiting in the Grand Final after their win over GD B-Team and now the other finalist is clear aswell. It is none other than Team Empire.

Team Empire, after marching through all competition in the online part of the season, struggled a bit in Kiev. During the first day they lost to their fellow finalists Na`Vi 2-0 and after that they started the playoffs by dropping to the lower bracket after losing to GD B-Team. However, Empire's game of picking Na`Vi for their group was based on them deeming this opponent to be the strongest and they didn not want to face them again until the final. This play worked out and Empire managed to come back, first by beating Pulse and then by claiming their vengeance against GD B-team.

Tomorrow we'll see the best-of-5 grand final series between Natus Vincere and Team Empire at 18.00 CEST, a final most people would have expected.
