The 32-team tournament was a good mix of known and new teams alike, all scrambling for the last slot for a Filipino team on next month's event. The contest favorite Pagibig.TnC brushed off a bad start, and then proceeded on to win the event. Commendable are the valiant performance of finalist team Mafia^Gaming (on which the Champion took 2 games, including a very exciting second game) and the again strong Dota 2 performance of Semi-finalist MSIEvoGT.
Pagibig.TnC thus earned a slot to the 16-team main tournament, to start at the 3rd November. That tournament will award the winner $1,000 and the runner-up $500. The top 2 teams on the main tournament will also get the chance to play against iG and LGD and win another prize money pot of $1,500.
