As expected and promised, Dreamhack returns with another Corsair Vengeance Cup this winter. The tournament will be similiar to last one, 16 teams will play for the prize pool of $29,000.
The team size and prize pool is an exact mirror of the Summer edition. 16 teams will start out in a group stage phase where 8 teams make it into the best-of-3 single elimination playoffs. The total prize pool is 200 000 SEK which roughly translates to $29,000.
1st - 100 000 SEK (~$14,500)
2nd - 50 000 SEK (~$7,300)
3rd - 25 000 SEK (~$3,600)
4th - 25 000 SEK (~$3,600)
The 16 tournament slots will be distributed in the following manner:

The roster of mTw is yet unknown but syndereN still has time to build a new team and perhaps claim his third consecutive Dreamhack championship.
