Natural 9 no longer Absolute Legends

Australian team, Natural 9 has departed from Absolute Legends with rumours stating disagreement between them and their sponsor.

No official announcement has been released yet but according to Absolute Legends' Dota 2 team manager, David 'GoDz' Parker, his team will be leaving their sponsor Absolute Legends.

According to Parker, the team will be reverting back to their old name, Natural 9, stating that, "It's a cooler tag anyway". No reasons were specifically stated for the departure but Parker is expected to make a public statement in the near future.

Fortunately for the Australian squad, the team will stay together and will be looking for a new sponsor in the near future. However, a roster change may be in place for Natural 9 with the addition of their ex-captain, David 'r1sk' Arnous, right before The International 2. Natural 9 currently has a six men roster.

An appeal was made to Valve but David Arnous was ultimately not allowed to participate in The International 2. Nevertheless, Arnous was still present in Seattle to perform his captain role off-game.

Natural 9 acquired aL as their sponsor back in late January after performing flawlessly in several online tournaments. They quickly became a fan favourite and even placed first in our GosuGamers ranking but their results have dropped significantly ever since.

Australia Natural 9 team roster:

Australia Darcy 'Godot' Jose
Australia Alex 'BlackShatan' Chang
Australia Trong 'Snoopy' Truong
Australia David 'r1sk' Arnous
Australia Justin 'xMusica' Yuen
Canada Scott 'bLeek' Jensen
