Mouz beats Dignitas for $500 in GD Studio Showmatch

Although Dota 2 is still in beta, increasing number of sponsors and tournaments has brought much content to the scene, and GD Studio has started their involvement with their Pilot show. Fronted by the notorious James '2GD' Harding, the Pilot show featured showmatches for 4 different games.

The showmatch was between Europe Mousesports and Romania Dignitas as they fight for $500 USD, and Sweden CLG player Pajkatt joined 2GD in the cast.

Dignitas opted for the huge AOE of Enigma and SK to help Anti Mage, whilst Mouz opted to destroy their teamfights with counter heroes such as Beastmaster, VS and Windrunner. A recently resurgent Morphling is taken as the last pick for Mouz, as they seek to end the game during mid game.

With the game on equal grounds, a 16th minute smoke gank from Mouz gains them an important advantage. Despite giving away first blood, SexyBamboe's Windrunner proved to be crucial as he utilized his Medallion of Courage with great effect in taking down Anti Mage, as well as a clutch powershot that finished off Anti Mage just as Shadow Priest's shallow grave on AM runs out.

The game was virtually over when Dignitas tries to confront Mouz near the Roshan pit, but was too late to stop the attempt. Dignitas takes the fight without Anti Mage, and a questionable enigma blackhole saw Mouz claiming all four of Dignitas for no casualty.

Sensing victory, a gank from Mouz picks off Enigma and Leshrac near the Radiant jungle, and Dignitas calls gg.
