As seen in the divisions A and B, both higher seeds steamrolled over their other opponents in the first two rounds yesterday, to eventually turn against each other for the group win.

The encounter started well for M5 whose Tidehunter and Witch Doctor secured their carrying Slardar an advantage on bottom, after a few successful ganks, going 3-0 after five minutes.

Santa as Windrunner on top meanwhile held his lane against a farming Night Stalker with an Ancient Apparition and Crystal Maiden as guards. The two disciples of ice, eventually saw no way to get close to the swift archer and turned bottom to assist Rexi's Priestess.

Despite the bad early game, Mouz pulled themselves together and started ganking aggressively with four to five heroes constantly on the move. Faced with the raiding plague, Moscow5 showed discomfort and lost several important fights alongside towers.

During the mid game, he Russians successfully fought back the one or another push, however freeing room for a counter-attack over at the Dire's side of the river remained impossible. The mice continued to draw the fights near the opponents buildings, knowing that whenever a skirmish was won, all buildings would be left unprotected. It came as intended after a won fight on bottom lane, Moscow5 resigned and move over to group F where Na`Vi and eSahara wait.

Mousesports already opened the second group stage in their match versus Team Shakira, with the rounds two and three following right afterwards. Group F will then commence at around 16:30 CET with the Eastern derby Moscow5 versus Na`Vi. Don't forget that our GosuBet contest for ROCCAT gear and Dota 2 keys is still running.
