GGL MiniComp Showmatches

Global Gaming League is starting a new event called MiniComp, featuring eight persons in tournament style, as a set of showmatches. Players such as Xiaozi, Darki, iNcontroL and Fayth are taking part!

DonKing, administrator at Global Gaming League is hosting a series of MiniComp, short for Mini Competitions, where among the games StarCraft is one of them.
- To give the Starcraft community something new to watch, says

PuertoRican, and also mentions that there may be a prize, but it is mostly for bragging rights. It is a showmatch event in an eight person tournament style which will last for for about a week. The tournament will start in about two weeks. When more information about this comes out, expect to read it here.

#1 player in Peru. Represented Peru at the WCG 2004 and 2005 Grand Finals.Originally from China, this player has lived in Canada for awhile now and has been to past WCG, but not being allowed to advance.

The games will be played at PGTour in the channel GGL. Maps that will be used are Arcadia, Lost Temple 2.4 and Nostalgia 1.3. All matches will be played best of three except for the final match which is played best of five. It is a single elimination format. GosuGamers will keep you posted!
