The flop of 2005 had two major nominees. mYm and pG. There were some rounds of debate before the jury in the end decided the sad farewell of pro-Gaming was the flop of the year.
Few events have generated as much discussion as the end of pG. The tag [pG] was once the most prestigious clan tag a StarCraft gamer could have. Today their members are in ESA, iG, mYm, MgZ, DkH, 3D, Play.it and oG to mention a few. It does sound a lot like a list of the teams participating in the SCCL.
We talked to Kentaro about what really happened and what he thought of his former team 'winning' this award. In an effort to clear up all the rumour surrounding what happened we will share a bit of what Kentaro said about it. "mog was the trigger" MoG is an organization that pG outsourced their sponsoring branch to and they did not do a satisfactory job. After pG got rid of MoG, the pressure on the team leaders increased vastly. "it was defender, florry and me who kept carrying pG on our shoulders like Atlas carries the world" The fact that BrEaKdOwN and FiSheYe left was the main reason for the invitation of Mondragon.
