Recently, .78 Chance of WCReplays.com caught up with Dimitar "DIDI8" Aleksandrov to talk about WarCraft III, his achievements, social life, and even some about his past StarCraft career.

Bulgaria DIDI8 (picture) a veteran to the Bulgarian community has just been interviewed by WCReplays.com. In the interview he's asked many questions about his achievements, past clans, girlfriends, family, etc. In some of his answers he goes into depth especially when it comes to his good/bad experiences during his gaming career.

DIDI8: "I started with Starcraft the very first day it was released"

A few questions are asked about the beginning of his gaming career playing StarCraft. He mentions that he started playing it for fun and then when he realized his skill increasing he started to play in tournaments. He states that he chose to quit StarCraft mainly due to the lack of tournaments and money in Europe. However, if he was asked to choose between both games back then he admits "I would probably have stuck to BW".

DIDI8: " I think that 200 apm is a very good apm"

He's famous for having apm in the 300+ eventhough he admits that he doesn't purposely try to go that fast. He doesn't believe that apm is all that important, but an apm around 200 is good. When he played StarCraft he said that he was much faster on the keyboard then he currently is with WarCraft III.

Worst Moments in his Gaming Career

"Two of my worst moments are 1) ClickArena. Even though I took first, them not paying out the prizes was really devastating. It's not a happy memory. And 2) was when I lost to Boxer at the second WCG after a 45 min game. I pretty much HAD to win since I had control over the game nearly the entire time, but then because of bad luck, I lost. And I know if I had won, I would have made top 3. Immediately after that game, I broke my keyboard because I was so mad. So then all the Korean admins headed over to boxer to 'protect' him, like I was going to kill him or something. But I sat there for a minute or so to cool down, stood up, picked up my keyboard, gathered my keys which had scattered everywhere, and walked away. Not a very funny story; just a bad moment from my career which I don't remember with much happiness. As far as good stories go? Seriously; every time I enjoy the game, every time I have fun playing. Every moment like this is a great memory."

The second incident at WCG against Boxer is what many players will always remember him for. However, he states that he was very angry, but quickly calmed down.

Replay Pack

He's kind enough to upload a replay pack of him against many good players including: Ukraine HoT, Denmark Bjarke, Canada eTched, Lithuania WinneR, Sweden SaSe and Netherlands RotterDaM.

The interview continues to go in even more depth. Many more questions are asked and I recommend this read to any gamer.
