A short while after the Ongamenet Olympus Starleague final, another big tournament was about to end. This time it was the MBC Game Starleague which was about to be settled in a big final.
Nal_Ra who came from winner brackets had the advantage of beginning 1 games to 0 and was playing against 
[ReD]NaDa. I watched the live stream together with some of the Crew here at my place, and so did FrozenArbiter who, again, wrote his battle reports to us:Charity
Game 1
- Nal_ra starts at 11 o clock and nada at 5 o clock.
Charity is an island map - with 2-3 in PvT. NaDa apparently have some computer problems as he pauses the game...
Apparently both players sound stopped working...
But apparently it was not a major problem as the game starts again- with Nal_ra making gas before gate way
whilst nada opts for a rax-gas build. NaDa prior to this match admitted to not having practiced very much. NaDa goes for a pretty standard fac fac but then an acad. Nal_ra has got 2 gates, going for robotics, nada gets armory.
Nal_ra expands to an island cituated directly below his main and upgrades range. NaDa finds one of nal_ra's obs and scans it before dropping- but unfortunately for nada (fortunately for my liquibet) another observer spots the dropship- which wasn't even loaded with goliaths- but scvs going to all the different expansions. Nal_ra's expansion has finished and he have 3-4 goons defending. NaDa expands to one of the middle islands. Nal_ra expands to the other half of his island (2 mineral formations in one island, separated by a bridge). NaDa expands to both middle islands. Nada is basically flying around with 4 dropships goliath and nal_ra is basically flying around with single shuttles looking for expansions.. Nal_ra builds 2 stargates and is finally getting some more shuttles. Nal_ra unloads a bunch of units at 1 o clock main as nada's 6 or so dropships moves for nal_ra's main, but instead drops of some gols at a semi turrteted up island, to kill defending shuttles, and then proceeds to drop 1, killing everything. Real strange game... NaDa expands to his island cituated right above his main. Nal_ra drops of some troops at an island where nada has some turrets, kills the turrets (he dropped off in a un defended part) and expands- nada goes with around 8 dropships to nal_ra's main- where he have 3 carriers. About 30 goliaths begins wrecking havoc to nal_ra's main until the 3 carriers come in and allows nal_ra to land his troops from shutles. No high templars though- but fortunately nal_ra got off some stroms as he unloaded. The carrier/goon force is enough to repell nada's forces. Another 9 dropships going for nal_ra's main as nal_ra kills of an exp. Nal_ra have some dts in his main but they die when nada scans ( SURPRISE!). Nal_ra decides to let his main die and kills of nada's expansions instead- though now he lost 2 of his 4 shuttles. Another 9 dropships goes to one of nal_ra's expansions- which has only some minor defences- fortunately cannons warp in and carrier come to save the day. Nada lose some dropships when getting the goliaths from ra's main back but they are still enough to kill off nal_ra's expansion. Though carriers manage to stall. Nal_ra has managed to sneak in some zealots in nada's heavily cannoned expansions and it is now dead. Nada is down to zero expansions and a shit load of goliaths. While ra is down to 1 one minable exp- though it is presently being besieged by mass goliath. Zealot templar stops the drop but another 5 dropships finish the work- then 5 carriers come and kill all dropships- though nal_ra decides not to attack the goliaths. Nal_ra goes into sniper mode and kills off the goliaths one by one. Nal_ra is down to one expansion- with barely any money left and nada still have no exp. Nal_ra gets his forces together and expands to the right midddle expansion- nada expands to 11 o clock main and begins transfering his goliaths- which is spotted by observer. In the mean time nal_ra wrecks nada's main. Ra expands again - but is stopped by goliath. Nal_ra kills off nada with his carriers and gg :)

Game 2
- PvT stats: 1-2
Ra at 12 o clock nada at 10 o clock.
Ra finds nada at his first try as do nada. Nada manages to lose his scv to ra's probes fairly quickly. Ra goes gate gas witha rather late cyber core I belive. As nada is about to lift to let his scv in and kill ra's probe ra rushes in with his probe but it is killed. Ra goes ob- whilst nada is going fac starport. Ra's going a hidden templar archive as well. Ra's adding a third gate while nada is just flying his dropship around- as well as getting a second. He has also gotten a turret at his main and is now trying to by pass ra's security- but a probe going to build a nexus spots him. Nada starts a cc as (apparently his second as the ob now shows a nearly finished cc as well) while ra attacks. Ra uses one shuttle to drop in his entire goon dt force and KILLS THE SINGLE TURRET DEFENDING NADA'S MAIN. Nada's dropships arrive but there isn't much he can do. Though he manage to get a turret up and with some nice micro he repells ra's forces- though dt goon is still rampagin in nada's main. Nada lifts his cc , expanding but ra spots it. Ra lifts in even more dt goon as well as attacking at nadas front and is able to kill nada's tanks defending his turret. Nada is desperately trying to defend with turret tank as well as expand, he has managed to get one tank up in a rather safe position but ra is killing off all his supply depots.ra drops off another 4 dts killing nada's base completely. Nada is desperately trying to defend his mains turret- ra has gotten an expansion at 4 o clcok main whilst ra is getting carrier. Nada's last 4 scvs manage to repell ra's forces but he is pretty much dead. nada's main is finally "nal_ra free" and he is has built up soem vultures as well as scvs. Nal_ra decides to drop off another 4 dts in nadas main which kills a sup depot and a turret. Nada is at 2 expansions - same as ra only differance being ra having an army... Nada goes off looking for an expansion to drop but ra has doen his trademark defence with cannons so there will mostly likely not be any drop chances. Nal_ra drops nada's first expansion (his gas exp) and forces nada to evacuate. Nada's dropship is nearly caught by ra's goons but escapes with hp in the red's. Ra now have about 3 carriers. and is assaulting nada's expansion with goon + dt in shuttle- nada repells the attack and finds ra's carrier with a couple of harassing vultures. NaDa is getting cloak I think whilst ra warps in an arbiter tribunal- looking for a stylish victory - , . -... Nada floats his cc towards 6 o clock main- taking a rather peculiar route going straight out to the middle at first, nada adds a second starport for mass wraith and tries harassing but is repelled by cannons. ra attacks with his 3 carriers + goon and dt in/zealot in shuttle and force nada up his ramp and into his main. Nada siege up and surrounds his tanks with scvs- but having only 3 wraiths and now no tanks he is dead. Nada manage to kill off one carrier as ra's observers had been left behind but when they arrive nada gives the GG. The camera zooms in on a banner saying Nal_ra is the best of the best ( I think seeing as how the last part of the banner didn't show very well) as well as something in hangul.
Ra defeats nada 3-0 (due to starting with 1-0 since he came from winners bracket). One of the worst finals I have seen- and it showed that nada hadn't prepared anything special for this series of game- still I am happy that nal_ra won as otherwise nada would have won his 4th kpga title in a row, and Nal_ra has been playing really well lately. In the award ceremony after the game, Nal_Ra took the microphone from the commentators and stated
