DHW04: Players arriving

As the hours pass by, more and more StarCraft players are arriving at DreamHack, and GosuGamers has met many of them. The only Swedish National Team player here is JessE, and we grabbed hold of him and took a picture. Two of the few girls from the StarCraft scene are also here - VildaMalin and ZergFlickan.

We knew before that the Swedish National Team player JessE (shown left in picture) was going to show up, and that he is one of the favourites in this tournament, much because of his experience, skill and offensive play. After asking various people in the Crew and the participants about JessE, they said he was going to be a tough one to beat, and that he will go far. Looking at the player list, JessE said: "Are there no good players?".

The tournament lured a foreign player to Elmia. oG)Andy came together with some other Swedes, and is one of the few foreigners to participate in the StarCraft tournament so far. The tournament that starts 14:00 CET tomorrow (26th of November).

As in almost every online computer game, there are very few girls playing. Two of probably the most known Swedish StarCraft girls are VildaMalin (picture) and ZergFlickan, who are both here and will participate in the tournament as well. When we (poGDI and I) first met up with VildaMalin, she was observing a game between TreK and Henkeponken online, where the Team SWE player TreK was bringing home the game. TreK himself said here on SG.com that if he was in Sweden he would participate, but now since he is located in Norway he was unable to attend.
