Dignitas fe defeated CLG Red in the final of the Intel Challenge Katowice 2019, as they retain their trophy and bank $25,000.
Dignitas was one of eight teams who participated in the Intel Challenge tournament this year. The tournament was held in Katowice and featured eight of the worlds best CSGO teams with a prize pool of $50,000 up for grabs.
Dignitas bested Orgless Fe and Assassins before facing an in-form CLG Red who looked hungry to take away the title from Dignitas but despite their best efforts, they paled in comparison to the current champions. They lost their own map pick (Mirage) 16-4 against Dignitas.
The previous loss brought a resurgence to CLG Red as they showcased an impressive performance on Nuke gaining 10 rounds against Dignitas.
Unfortunately for CLG Red, their uprise in performance came too late as Dignitas proved yet again why they are one of the best— if not the best female CS:GO team in the world.
Congratulations to both CLG Red and Dignitas for making it to the final of such a prestigious tournament and to Intel for providing a platform to showcase such talent.
