EvoLeague will begin in May with $8,000 in DotA and Dota 2 to giveaway in the LAN finals in Kiev. RoX.KIS has confirmed their participation so far with more teams expected to accept the invite soon.
Evolution Esports League will be the host of the upcoming EvoLeague which includes a LAN finals in Kiev to conclude the tournament. The organizers are still torn between hosting it in CyberZone or CyberArena.
The qualifiers of EvoLeague will begin on the 13th of May with the LAN finals all set to be on the 14th of August. Registration for the tournament has not started and will start as soon as EvoLeague get their website up and running on the 7th of May.
EvoLeague told Gosugamers that they are currently in deep negotiation with professional teams to participate in the tournament. So far, only RoX.KIS has accepted to participate.
The tournament format has not been decided the last time we asked but the qualifiers will be opened to the masses and it seems to be heading more towards a groupstage qualifier.
EvoLeague will also be hosting Starcraft 2 and Counter Strike 1.6 tournament but as far as DotA and Dota 2 are concerned, there will be $8,000 in cash prize awaiting to be won, $6,000 for Dota 2 and $2,000 for DotA.
