September was a busy month for the Chinese scene. With online tournament matches and LAN competitions interspersed between every other day of the month, it was remarkable how the top Chinese teams managed to keep it all together. Victorious after a month of WDC Chinese qualifiers are the teams iG.Y, iG.Z and PanDa respectively.

iG.Z | 7 | 7-0 | 21 |

iG.Y | 6 | 4-2 | 12 |
LGD | 7 | 4-3 | 12 |
DK | 7 | 4-3 | 12 |
EHOME | 6 | 1-5 | 3 |
TyLoo | 7 | 1-6 | 3 |
WE | 7 | 1-6 | 3 |
*A detailed breakdown of the qualifier proceedings can be found here.
It should be noted that one game has yet to be played (EHOME vs iG.Y). Should iG.Y take the win over EHOME, they will tie PanDa at 15 points and settle at third place. Should they lose, they will tie LGD and DK at 12 points - but because both LGD and DK have lost their game to iG.Y, WDC rules dictate that the latter will still qualify.
However, this does not spell 'it's over' for the teams who failed to qualify. The second phase of the Chinese qualifiers involve a voting process where the top three teams with the highest votes will advance. The current three are:
1. DK (688 votes)
2. LGD (631 votes)
3. EHOME (211 votes)
These six teams (or at least the three who have qualified) will certainly pack a punch at this year's World DotA Championships. With the international teams already invited, we are just a stone's throw away from an epic battle that will hopefully settle the score once and for all.
Stay tuned!
**Do note that Nirvana.cn have already qualified for the offline finals by virtue of being the defending champions.
