Patch 1.0.3. hit once the most used skill of Demon Hunters - the Elemental Arrow with the Nether Tentacles rune. Previously, each shot could hit a mob several times (if, for example, the mob was big in size) but as 1.0.3. fixed that possibility, Demon Hungers found themselves with significantly diminished life leech.
Although many DH players considered the patch a big nerf to their class, Athene explains in this video, how it might the very opposite.
