Two European and two Asian teams are announced to be invited for China Cup.
China Cup will debut with its first edition on March 17th-19th with six attending teams. The tournament has a prize pool of 680,000CNY (~$99,000) and will feature two Chinese, two European and two non-Chinese Asian teams. The first two participants, TyLoo and 5POWER were known beforehand, as the mentioned teams finished top two in the Chinese Super League.
The other two Asian teams at the China Cup will be B.O.O.T-d[S] from Singapore and South Korean side MVP Project. Fnatic Academy and Team123 will be travelling from Europe to face the Asian teams. Danes of Team123 recently topped their group in StarLadder i-League Season 3 qualifiers and advanced to the playoffs, whilst Fnatic Academy are yet to play their final match in the group stage of the same qualifiers. Fnatic's academy team has been to China before, for China TOP last December, where they lifted the trophy and snatched a huge prize purse of $71,000.
